Artisan foods dazzle at SF Fancy Food Show

Not everything at San Francisco's Fancy Food Show is local. But according to Liz Neumark on Huffington Post, the show is like "a candy shop" for lovers of artisan foods, clever flavors, inventive ideas.

An overview session on opening day provides a glimpse into significant trends, setting the backdrop for some of the more interesting products: Organic, fair trade, whole grains (quinoa, flax, hemp), non-GMO, gluten-free (corn-free and soy-free too), herbs, new flavors accents (cinnamon, caramel, mid-eastern), vegan, handcrafted, farm crafted, small batch/artisanal crafted and traceability, all with a good story to tell please.

Sound good? Read Neumark's post, which includes lots of pictures.
