The Alice Waters breakfast

So what *does* famous locavore chef Alice Waters (Chez Panisse, Edible Schoolyard, etc) eat for breakfast?

The Sacramento Bee asked. Waters answered:

"There is a little whole wheat flat bread I make. I put it on the fire and spread it with hummus. And I have it with some Chinese tea."

Simple as that. Apparently it's delicious - "you'd think I would get tired of it, but I don't," she says - but perhaps more importantly, Waters says it knocked down her high cholesterol in less than a year.
